Hi!  Deja Dup has supported smb destinations since 11.0.  First, connect to
the server in gnome.  You can click the 'connect to server' button in the
preferences to do so.  Then in the preferences, click the location dropdown
and select browse.  Choose the server and navigate to the desired folder.

This will be much easier in 18.0.
