Package: synaptic Version: 0.70~pre1+b1 Severity: normal Today i got this error: E: Opening configuration file /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99synaptic - ifstream::ifstream (13: Permission denied)
Looking at the file i got: # l /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99synaptic -rw------- 1 root root 32 13:28 20.12.2010 /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99synaptic After chmodding it to 644 all went well again. This file is recreated every time synatic is started and synaptic should after that check/set apropriate filerights.
