Adding libraries in LDFLAGS is a bad idea.

All the buildds did fine, and in a current clean sid chroot I could also
not reproduce it.
see the subject. if --as-needed is passed to the linker. Do it manually with
-Wl,--as-needed. the binutils version doesn't matter.
