Indeed. You mean that if --as-needed is added to LDFLAGS when building the package (have you begun letting dpkg-buildpackage do that by default on Ubuntu, perhaps?), -ldl ends up too early on the command lines when linking, so all its symbols are dropped as they aren't needed yet? -- Magnus Holmgren [email protected] Debian Developer
