Sorry for a very late reply! This is indeed a bug, and it has also been reported
by at least one more person on the mailing list. We should finally have a fix
ready in our experimental builds. If you'd be willing to test these, its
4.0~beta2+experimental48 that includes the fix for the first time. I've already
asked for testing on the mailing list, but if you could give that version a try,
that would help a lot in pushing this fix into the next official version.
