After thinking about this some more, the real problem is just that sudoers was not treated as a conffile. The big thing that's changed since the last time I considered making it one is that we now include support for local config fragments in /etc/sudoers.d, such that it really should be possible for /etc/sudoers to be unmodified on most systems. Thus, moving it to being a normal conffile now makes sense to me. I'll make the change for the next upload. Bdale
