Ah, okay. So this must be reverted. Since the changelog entry says that the patch was added in order to fix libowfat’s build failure, there must be a different problem in libowfat and that bug must be reopened (again, Debian/sparc does NOT use v9 but v8plus or, on older versions, v7/v8/supersparc). I thought it was much *much* more bare bones. But it turns out it beats the living hell out of ksh93 in that respect.
