There are some reasons for that: * The source code is more volatile than the documentation. * The meaning of the video formats vary from site to site. For instance, I usually grab videos from video.google.com and the meaning of the format there is not the same as for youtube. I am also implementing upstream the ability to grab videos from vimeo.com and it seems that, there, we only have SD and HD videos. * The manpage can hold a detailed description of the details above, while having them in the source code is not the right place. So, if you send me a patch to the manpage, I am willing to upload a new revision of the package.
