If I'm reading this discussion right, you expect someone else to apply the attached patches and then assume responsibility for the entire package since you're unwilling maintain it if it has any more patches? That seems a bit extreme, but I will take a look at doing so when I find some time. It looks like the release team won't be accepting the version in experimental due to the rather large diff.
