Package: apt-listchanges Version: 2.85.5 Severity: normal Mail sent by apt-listchanges is not properly encoded when the changelogs or news files have non-ASCII characters. If I configure my mail server (postfix) to reject 8-bit messages without proper encoding (http://www.postfix.org/postconf.5.html#strict_8bitmime) then it will reject apt-listchanges mails.
As an example, apticron (http://packages.qa.debian.org/a/apticron.html) does properly encode mail with the same changelogs.
