Package: zgv
Version: 5.9-2+b1
Severity: normal

I submitted a suggestion for libsvga1 that when installed,
a check be made to see if a framebuffer device was present,
and /etc/vga/libvga.config be edited to uncomment the

chipset FBDEV

line to make this the default when run on machines with a framebuffer.
It might be good to double check that with this package (and maybe also
for bmv, another program that runs well with libsvga1/fb) and make
(or suggest) that change.
Also if a framebuffer is identified on the system, also
drop (or suggest putting) in

force-viewer-8bit on

into the /etc/zgv file.

Thanks for any consideration, just hoping to save others some grief.
