Package: libsvga1
Version: 1:1.4.3-29
Severity: important

I installed in a different order, so perhaps this is taken care of.
Apologies if so.
I experienced problems using svga packages after moving to use of a
frame buffer. Many were cleared up forcing frame buffer usage
via the configuration file.
My suggestion, if not already implimented, is that when libsvga1
is installed, a check should be made for the presence of a frame buffer
device, and if present, the line for the frame buffer device / chip set
in /etc/vga/libvga.config should be uncommented.
This doesn't solve all svga/fbdev problems, but it made
a couple of usefull utilities, zgv and bmv usable for me,
and maybe it can save some other users grief, and allow them to get
use out of svga tools.
