Hi Christian,
It seems that Geoff thinks that an MIT license would be okay to apply to
qtobject. But he didn't quite so far as to say it.
Here is what I suggest: Ask him to email the bug report saying:
"I am Geoff Stearns, the author of qtobject, and I permit its use under
the MIT License."
And then ask him to write a copy of the MIT license into that email (you
can grab a copy from http://www.opensource.org/licenses/mit-license.php ).
I think that an email submitted to a Debian bug should count as adequate
for licensing matters. I am not an ftpmaster, but that is my pretty firm
opinion.
Can you ask for that? (A change on the web page is good, too, but if
that's too much trouble, an email would be fine, I think.)
-- Asheesh.
