Package: rstatd Version: 3.07-4 Severity: normal
When running rstatd on m68k, a "rup" command (either local or remote) results in having 40 instances of rpc.rstatd running. Those instances will stay until someone kills them. Although this system is running sarge, I believe that the problem still exists in sid, because it already existed in woody and is reproducible on two m68ks (2.4.27 and 2.2.20 kernels) # ps faux | grep -c rpc.rstatd 40 Regards, Ingo -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: m68k Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-amiga Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages rstatd depends on: ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii netbase 4.21 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii portmap 5-9 The RPC portmapper -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
