Uhm. I just had a report from one of the users I CCed, and he said gThumb works again (oops, I forgot to CC the bugreport, thanks for doing so). Just to be sure: shotwell didn't work with sid's libgphoto2 packages, but worked with my packages, right? If this is true, I'll upload them, and then investigate further on gthumb's side.
