Package: sbuild Version: 0.60.3-1 Severity: normal Tags: patch Running 'sbuild-update <namespace>:<distribution>' results in sbuild-update failing with the error 'Chroot for distribution <namespace>:<distribution>, architecture amd64 not found'.
A patch to fix this can be viewed in the 'my-work' branch of my clone of sbuild at github. http://github.com/ceros/sbuild/commit/3bd2bed7d234e4c124ca16f965e56a0ae5aa4bb7 Please do not merge the 'my-work' branch but instead cherry-pick the commit. Also note that this makes it possible to override the use of 'source' as the namespace for sbuild-update and friends. This makes it possible to use sbuild-shell to, for example, test the running of certain programs in a chroot environment. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages sbuild depends on: ii adduser 3.112+nmu1 add and remove users and groups ii libsbuild-perl 0.60.3-1 Tool for building Debian binary pa ii perl 5.10.1-16 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl-modules 5.10.1-16 Core Perl modules Versions of packages sbuild recommends: ii debootstrap 1.0.25 Bootstrap a basic Debian system ii fakeroot 1.14.4-1 Gives a fake root environment Versions of packages sbuild suggests: pn deborphan <none> (no description available) ii wget 1.12-2.1 retrieves files from the web -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
