Any update on this? I'm willing to help with any remaining work, but am not sure what needs to be done (what does committed in git mean. What further polishing needs to be done). It looks like the upstream sources have Debian packaging information. Does this need to be cleaned up in any way? It looks like it bundles ixp which currently is a separate package so this would need to be split out.
