I'm running gnome. In an empty workspace, if I open an urxvt, lock the screen, and then unlock the screen, the urxvt window is selected but I can't type in it. I need to switch to another workspace and back to have keyboard focus. The same happens with two urxvts open, but then I can just hit alt-tab to get focus (in the other urxvt) and alt-tab back again. This also happens with a few other applications in gnome: oowriter, firefox (downloaded linux binary from mozilla). If I run them from the urxvt, when they exit, I can't type in the urxvt. Changing my focus model between 'click to focus' or 'focus follows mouse' doesn't fix the problem. On another box, I'm running fluxbox. With this, I can only reproduce the problem with the firefox binary. The urxvt keeps keyboard focus after xlock and oowriter return. This bug has bothered my for some time, but since it's so easily triggered (by me) I can't help but wonder if it's some strange setting I have turned on.
