on one of my systems, part of the key for the root file system is on an encrypted volume itself. That volume is unlocked by a dedicated, local init-top script. Please consider adding a PREREQ like cryptroot-prepare so that I can name my init-top script like that so that it is guaranteed that my script runs earlier than yours.
