-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Package: cron Version: 3.0pl1-88 Severity: wishlist
As 'e' and 'r' are direct one beside another (on a qwert[yz] keyboard, maybe dvorak is better) it is very dangerous to type blind "crontab -e" to edit the crontab. If you do so and type "crontab -r" the crontab will be gone and has to be restored from backup. It whould be nice if crontab whould ask if the user whould realy do so. Many other tools ask this question for much less dangerous think. - -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (800, 'unstable'), (50, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.31 Locale: LANG=de_DE, LC_CTYPE=de_DE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) (ignored: LC_ALL set to de_DE) Versions of packages cron depends on: ii adduser 3.67 Add and remove users and groups ii debianutils 2.14.2 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.3.5-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpam0g 0.76-23 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libselinux1 1.24-4 SELinux shared libraries Versions of packages cron recommends: ii exim4 4.52-1 metapackage to ease exim MTA (v4) ii exim4-daemon-heavy [mail-tran 4.52-1 exim MTA (v4) daemon with extended - -- no debconf information - -- Klaus Ethgen http://www.ethgen.de/ pub 2048R/D1A4EDE5 2000-02-26 Klaus Ethgen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Fingerprint: D7 67 71 C4 99 A6 D4 FE EA 40 30 57 3C 88 26 2B -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (GNU/Linux) iQEVAwUBQwboup+OKpjRpO3lAQLY8QgAovPMoF4gpHH4Wdyx1UZH0St0Oc4DaUYQ DWoLtjln4pJbdPf58XIHLK9Aj2AzYdYkkoKcPAVosNnsXUyg0ih4i+fFzmhRVZjP WZvR9xg++f+WHjeYiUJwGjdbsy0rrhlLMpGXBaEkX52zLTx2kfoN411nB0iFCRpf HRiMTq9Ogp8HpBTsIFr2rJRj3Z9MrSGc8n0f4SHHhN4OL93Senincmk6pT6qD8kk rTzt29f8dn8VQWmJoFfi0NWr5tv8wFbVVCg0lHJy4ZE10KzHhj5C13CJ4rWmUIVd WfhRl/Q+EqgwNkd0SQp/1iaWZcn8ar/qiKgLVkW5nn7N15d3oeMuyg== =Ufmf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
