Hi Guido,
As always -- found what I was looking right after I have sent a
bugreport and right before got a reply from you.
And since such situation is most frustrating (after having wasted time,
not found something, and then found that it exists but was not obvious)
I decided to take courage to reopen the bugreport back -- webpage is
great, but even google could not lead me to it since I was asking for
too obvious (git-buidlpackage +mergeWithUpstream, which is absent on
that page). Hence please consider attached patch to include
documentation of this feature within git-buildpackage manpage
