Hi, I've attempted to fix this via a dummy init script in the package available at: <http://pkg-request-tracker.alioth.debian.org/test/parboot/> (3.8.8-5~test.1). I will try and get these tested out with insserv, although I need to upgrade my main machine to squeeze first. Please let me know if that solves the problem for you.
