Package: speech-dispatcher Version: 0.7.1-1 Severity: normal Due to unstable audio outputdrivers (alsa, oss etc) I highly recomment building the libao support which was not build with all available speech-dispatcher versions under debian. If someone doesn't want to use pulseaudio, he can't use speechd stable with other included native audiooutput drivers. Especially the alsa driver is known to segfault from time to time :-(.
To turn libao support on: builddeppendency should contain libao-dev and libao4 as runtime dependency.
