Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.12.0+shadow-1 Severity: normal
--- Please enter the report below this line. --- After upgrading to the "shadow" version, I see some laggy behaviour in two cases. 1) in KMail the "Send" button has a popup menu that opens with a short delay if several SMTP accounts are configured. This popup now does not open most of the times. I need to move the mouse by at least one pixel to make the menu appear. 2) Konsole (the KDE terminal emulator) shows (from what I think) the same behavious a bit differently. At several occasions I experience these lags. E.g. if I use tab completion, the completed text only shows after pressing another key. Or password prompts for SSH conections do not show until I press a key. Or if I run through a command line with the cursor keys, the last step happens about a second after I released the key. Stuff like that ... from dmesg: Intel 965GM Chipset lspci: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) Kernel driver in use: i915 Does this happen to someone else? --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-fs Debian Release: squeeze/sid 500 unstable www.debian-multimedia.org 500 unstable ftp2.de.debian.org 101 experimental-snapshots qt-kde.debian.net 1 experimental ftp2.de.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =============================================-+-======================= libc6 (>= 2.3.6-6~) | 2.11.2-6 libdrm-intel1 (>= 2.4.21) | 2.4.21-2 libdrm2 (>= 2.4.17) | 2.4.21-2 libpciaccess0 (>= 0.8.0+git20071002) | 0.12.0-1 libx11-6 | 2:1.3.3-3 libx11-xcb1 | 2:1.3.3-3 libxcb-aux0 (>= 0.3.6) | 0.3.6-1 libxcb-dri2-0 | 1.6-1 libxcb1 | 1.6-1 libxext6 | 2:1.1.2-1 libxfixes3 (>= 1:4.0.1) | 1:4.0.5-1 libxv1 | 2:1.0.5-1 libxvmc1 | 2:1.0.5-1 xorg-video-abi-6.0 | xserver-xorg-core (>= 2:1.7.6.901) | 2:1.7.7-7 Package's Recommends field is empty.
