As this problem may occur to other users as well, in the coming releases the postinst script will print a warning if some unknown /usr/lib*/libGL.so.*.* is found on the system. More probably something was left from an ancient installation of the nvidia driver using their installer than someone having libGL.so.1.3, but who knows.
