Almost everything that were said about this before still applies. Every qemu release has more and more stuff from prior kvm releases merged, but kvm does not stay in place, it evolves too. For example, qemu 0.12 did not have multi-CPU guest support, but should have that in 0.13. But 0.13 qemu-kvm has nested guest support, pci device assignment and other things that "plain" qemu lacks.
