Well so far I'd been quietly hopeful that the corner case we hit here might get fixed at the source in a general way rather than having to kludge around it in this package -- but I can also be pragmatic about a looming release deadline too ;) Just to recap what we discussed, because there doesn't seem to be a record of that filed here: There is a corner case in dh_installudev which we hit here because changes to xorg meant we had to change the priority that the script was installed with, and that happened at the same time as udev moved the locations of the scripts to a different part of the filesystem. The simple user workaround is to just delete the stale script. I do have a handful of "last touchup for squeeze" things that I do still need to do another upload for, so if someone can provide a tested patch for this one, and the cure is not worse than the disease, then I think it would be worth including with that. I would still prefer to have a more generic solution to the corner case itself though if someone does have time to explore this in detail.
