For reference, this is http://bugs.debian.org/595540. So what's next? I will try to convert the slapd.conf template to slapd.d snippets and upload a fixed version. I still don't know if this is doable in a reasonable time (before squeeze!). In the long term this move will ease maintenance of kolabd.
