yes, please check: http://packages.qa.debian.org/p/python-gammu.html . There is an old package, now removed and I think superseeded by gammu I think, that has no bug report against it (in fact it's checked the 'python-gammu (source)' ) I leave this bug report open, but I don't know what I can do to get this right.
