Package: lxterminal Version: 0.1.8-2 Severity: normal After upgrading from lenny to squeeze, my lxterminal started behaving in a somewhat strange way. There's now almost whole line at the bottom that's not used, and almost whole column at the right. Number of actual lines X columns displayed is one less than should be displayed according to X window size (when resizing a window, my window manager reports number of lines X columns in a window, and that size is one more than actually displayed).
Typical screenshot of LXTerminal window (with terminus 14 font) is attached. Note that changing fonts does not fix the issue. Note also that - apparently - it is not lxterminal itself that started the issue. Before upgrade, I had the same version of lxterminal (1.8), but all the rest were upgraded - libraries, defoma and so on. But that upgrade did not affect other terminal emulators - xterm, urxvt, gnome-terminal all behaves as before. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers testing Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.35-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages lxterminal depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.30.0-1 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.11.2-2 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libcairo2 1.8.10-4 The Cairo 2D vector graphics libra ii libfontconfig1 2.8.0-2.1 generic font configuration library ii libfreetype6 2.4.2-1 FreeType 2 font engine, shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.1-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.20.1-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.28.1-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libvte9 1:0.24.3-1 Terminal emulator widget for GTK+ ii libx11-6 2:1.3.3-3 X11 client-side library lxterminal recommends no packages. lxterminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
