No, doesn't look similar to me. I am sure it is not a PEBKAC (like what Sven Arvidsson reports in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=403409#5 and http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=403409#6, as I have certainly not pressed the F1 key or any other key for too long to have all the yelp windows coming. They even kept appearing while I was on the console trying to stop that. Also, when I run yelp from a terminal (in this case XFCE Terminal) it just opens once. It does issue a couple of error messages, though: ----8<---- (yelp:12612): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_tool_button_new: assertion `icon_widget == NULL || GTK_IS_MISC (icon_widget)' failed (yelp:12612): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (yelp:12612): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_connect_data: assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (yelp:12612): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_toolbar_insert: assertion `GTK_IS_TOOL_ITEM (item)' failed (yelp:12612): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid (NULL) pointer instance (yelp:12612): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_signal_connect_data: assertion `G_TYPE_CHECK_INSTANCE (instance)' failed (yelp:12612): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_toolbar_insert: assertion `GTK_IS_TOOL_ITEM (item)' failed ** Message: useQuirks: 0 / 0 / ** Message: useQuirks: 0 / 0 / ----8<---- If there is anything else I could try to nail down the cause of the problem, let me know.
