sure, there's no need for rush.

Sorry, my wording was a bit ambiguous... The package builds fine (both
on Debian and Ubuntu) as it is, I only wanted to positively state that
it *also* builds if you use the simple 2-line rules file (you get some
warnings about unnecessarily linked libraries, though).

In sum: no problem to build from source at all :-)

PS: The whole reason for this bug report is that the Ubuntu package
had the simple rules file until recently. That is, until I requested a
resync with Debian... I hope the package mantainer in Ubuntu is less
mad at me now that I (kind of) pushed this change upstream  ;)
