As has been said before, this patch does not work for 0.12 version, it is for yet-to-be-released 0.13 version. However, upstream stable-0.12 branch has a backport of this patch now, and I just committed the fixes to collab-maint git tree, it should be fixed by the next upload, and I want to ensure it will be done soon...
