My menu patch is no big deal, just a tiny convenience. Which I've
submitted upstream anyway. But, the new upstream version does have
some substantive improvements. It looks like mainly a bug-fix release
to me. If you scan the fixes mentioned in the NEWS file and upstream
issue tracker, they might be enough to justify pushing it into
squeeze.

There are, at least, no major show-stopper whoppers: I'm running 2.04
on my IPv6-enabled machine and it seems to work fine.

Yeah. Especially since the upstream repo seems to be SVN, which makes
it easy to keep the upstream development as a branch using git svn. I
do this w/ ADOLC and it is quite convenient.

git svn clone --stdlayout svn://svn.m0k.org/Transmission

        SUSPEND YOUR DOUBTS.
        SUBMIT TO THE GIT.OR.CZ SUPERIORITY.
        REPOSITORIES WILL BE CONVERTED.
        CODE WILL BE REPLICATED.
        ALL BRANCHES SERVE THE GITORIOUS.
