I can confirm that I also encounter this behavior using uw-imapd
7:2007b~dfsg-4+lenny3. My imap clients are Thunderbird and the iphone
mail app, and corruption seems to be triggered occasionally via the
iphone imap client as it is the distinguishing feature between my
account, which occasionally gets corrupted, and others whose do not. It
may be related to simultaneous access by two clients, as I often run
both simultaneously.
