It would be nice if xgettext would support JavaScript source files. There is a patch to do this at http://github.com/AndyStricker/gettext-javascript but when the author proposed this to upstream, he doesn't seem to have got any response: http://old.nabble.com/Gettext:-xgettext-JavaScript-scanner-backend-td27706865.html So it would be nice if Debian would apply this patch while waiting for a response from upstream.
