Why do you not deinstall fam/gamin?
I have currently 73.000 on ONE server Sun Fire X4250 (16 x 1 TByte SAS
drives) and fam/gamin would kill ANY resources on this system if I let
it installed..
However, I would not even try to use fam/gamin on a 100 users machine.
