doom-wad-shareware claims to be version 1.9 of the upstream IWAD but is in
fact 1.8. See http://doom.wikia.com/wiki/DOOM1.WAD for a table of MD5 hashes
for the various versions.
If you run chocolate-doom and leave it to play a demo, it will quit out and
complain with
"*** You may need to upgrade your version of Doom to v1.9. ***
