Package: flashplugin-nonfree Version: 1:2.8.1 Severity: wishlist
The Ubuntu response to the 64-bit security problem has been to package the 32-bit version of the flash plugin and use nspluginwrapper. I built and installed the Ubuntu flashplugin-installer deb and was able to get Flash running fine. My only issue appeared to be that the Debian ia32 libraries are split into a number of packages and ia32-libs doesn't depend on all of them so some more ia32-libs-* packages needed to be installed to get all the required libraries. Ubuntu just uses a monolithic ia32-libs package.
