Package: gtk-gnutella Version: 0.95.3-2 Severity: wishlist
Look at the checkbox Settings / Downloads / Feed mesh from hits. It has the following effect: Let's assume I'm downloading a file with a certain URN:sha1. If that checkbox is checked, any additional search hits for that URN:sha1 will be added to my list of sources for that file. This is a great feature. What would be even better would be if a search was automatically launched for any URN:sha1 I'm downloading. IMO the result of that search doesn't have to be visible anywhere (except as improved download stats). That way I wouldn't have to manually launch a search for things I'm downloading to improve my download performance. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'testing-proposed-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-1-686 Locale: LANG=sv_SE, LC_CTYPE=sv_SE (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages gtk-gnutella depends on: ii libatk1.0-0 1.10.1-2 The ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libglib2.0-0 2.6.5-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.6.8-1 The GTK+ graphical user interface ii libpango1.0-0 1.8.2-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libxml2 2.6.20-1 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.2-4 compression library - runtime gtk-gnutella recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
