I'm bringing up this issue again, for a different reason. While I agree
that the multiple blog setup with 2.x wordpress Debian packages can be a
bit tricky to figure out (especially on how to setup blog-specific
upload/themes directories), I would like to request documentation on how
the recent wordpress 3.0-1 brings changes to multi-site installs.

In the Debian Changelog, one can read the following:

  [ Giuseppe Iuculano ]
  * [a57d26e] Imported Upstream version 3.0 (Closes: #586764)
  * [a74cd68] MU: enable multi-user by default and install the proper
    blogs.dir directory
  * [ffd926e] fix the blogs.dir link
  * [c81081d] Adjust MU setup for Debian installations

What does "Adjust MU setup for Debian installations" mean? What is this
blogs.dir link for? What should be placed underneath? How existing
multi-site setups, using a seperate config file in /etc/wordpress and
sharing a common DocumentRoot (/etc/share/wordpress/) should be laid out
from now on? Please explain!

Thank you very much in advance,
