you must do four things:

2. Edit the ip-up script and change
"[ -x /etc/init.d/fetchmail -a ! -x /sbin/resolvconf ]" to
"[ -x /etc/init.d/fetchmail ]", and
"try-restart" to "start"
Adjust the note in that file to match the note here. Remove trailing
blanks at end of line.
