I've caught up on all of this now. I'm not sure I quite understand the position of the current lilo maintainers. William, to what are you referring ? Can you provide a bug number ? William and Matt: Can you confirm that you still intend to remove lilo from squeeze ? Do we have another person who wants to maintain lilo in Debian ? I think that if we do, and the current maintainers want to remove it, we should give the package to the maintainers who do not want to remove it.
