I don't think we are considering adding an additional layer of management. Currently the person in charge is Matthias; he is the maintainer of python2.6 et al.[1] We would hand the maintainership of these packages to the new team. Ian. [1] What is the exact list of packages in question ? I make it as follows. Core Python packages: python2.5 python2.6 python3.1 distribute python-central python-defaults python-old-doctools python3-defaults Python extensions and libraries: pycxx pygresql pyparallel pyserial pysvn python-bsddb3 python-gnuplot python-imaging python-reportlab python-scientific python-stats python-stdlib-extensions python-sigmask twisted twisted-* python3-stdlib-extensions -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
