Hi,

I have just checked on your report, and it is completely true - AFAICT
it is due to the change [1] in the Debian default for
net.ipv6.bindv6only. While I get a proper solution for your problem, I
can offer you two workarounds:

• Set back net.ipv6.bindv6only to 0:
  # sysctl -w net.ipv6.bindv6only=0

To make this change persist across reboots, you can set this same
  value in /etc/sysctl.conf

However, this way out is not really recommended - This value's
change will most probably persist in Debian, and IMO we (read: in
this bug report, I, together with the Cherokee upstreams) should fix
it instead of hacking around it

• In the meantime, if you do not need IPv6 functionality, you can
disable it in Cherokee and get back regular network functionality -
Enter cherokee-admin and go to the General tab; disable IPv6
support, and Cherokee will again work on IPv4.

I will be working on properly resolving this bug, but you can use this
as a temporary workaround.
