Package: gnugo Version: 3.7.4-1 Severity: normal gnugo in the past had broken hand-written maintainer scripts to handle the /usr/doc/gnugo symlink. I know they were broken because although the current maintainer scripts do not add or remove this symlink, it is still present on my laptop (installed approx 2003).
Please add code to your postinst to delete the /usr/doc/gnugo symlink if it exists on upgrade from an older version of gnugo. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages gnugo depends on: ii libc6 2.3.5-3 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libncurses5 5.4-9 Shared libraries for terminal hand gnugo recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- see shy jo
