reassign 519006 gcc-4.4 found 519006 4.4.2-8 thanks This bug is actually a GCC bug, present in 4.4 and fixed in 4.5. The patch that fixes the problem is available [1], but is not easily backportable without good GCC knowledge.
A workaround to this bug is to not compile with -g.
