Hello Thomas, your bug report seems to be a duplicate from the one I have filed last year. Please can you check, that you have not had a "disk full" or "quota" problem?
The problem happen, if r2e can not write a temporary file (complete) and
and it does not check whether the TEMPORARY write was successfuly and
then it move the TMPFILE to the original one.
Also r2e does not check, whether there is enoug disk space, to hold the
new file.
