Hi, gnome-vfs is deprecated upstream in favour of GVfs and GIO. We want to remove it from the archive (though that won't probably happen until after Squeeze is released), but since libgnomevfs2-ruby has no rdeps it can probably be removed now so that nothing starts to use it.
