I got some kernel oops with the latest nvidia modules (195.36.24-1) on a vanilla kernel 2.6.34 even with or without binutils-gold. Fortunately these oops doesn't crash this system.
I reported the problem at NVNews forum ( http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=151032 ) and I got this answer from a nvidia employee: *We're aware of the problem reported by erusul and adilsond.
